Some things are inspiring because that make you laugh. Some, because they make you think. And then there are those that inspire because they make you better. When I heard this quote (below) I imagined the frail, old woman who said it, laying on the wild grass while her granddaughter massaged her tired, bound feet. Surely she spoke from from all her life embodied. But I have to ask myself, would her life have been different if it had not become what her mind contained? Belief is a powerful thing. It can transform condition and transcend experience. What we believe not only changes us, but the lives of those we love.
